Ryan Schuchard

As a manager of environmental research and innovation at Business for Social Responsibility, Ryan Schuchard helps companies navigate the latest environmental trends through a strategic and financial lens. He focuses on climate change and energy issues such as climate policy, supply chains and products, barriers to clean energy, and human rights. Ryan is involved with various collaborative, multi-sector research initiatives and BSR client projects, including "De-Carbonizing the Supply Chain," a partnership with the Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition, which is developing an engagement protocol and standard reporting tool for the information and communications technology sector. He has coauthored chapters in Corporate Responses to Climate Change (Greenleaf Publishing) and Carbon Trading (ICFAI Books), in addition to numerous reports and articles. Ryan holds an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oregon State University.
