Arun Banskota

Banskota is president, NRG Energy’s EV Services. In this role, he leads the development of NRG Energy’s eVgo electric vehicle charging network. He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, most recently overseeing NRG Energy’s 11,000 plus megawatt Texas generation portfolio. Previously, he focused on developing, financing and managing both conventional and renewable power projects as the Managing Director of Global Power at El Paso Corporation and the Vice President of project development for OptiSolar (since acquired by FirstSolar.) Banskota holds an MA from the University of Denver and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.
