Author David Jaber is an advisor to governments and companies, a LEED AP, and works in community development, performance metrics, greenhouse gas inventories and site assessments.
David has 12 years of experience with performance metrics tracking and benchmarking, supply-chain analysis, greenhouse gas inventories, pollution prevention and eco-efficiency site assessments. He works on habitat regeneration, cultural protection, healthy economies, advocacy and related issues with tribal communities.
He was previously a project manager at Natural Logic Inc., which included more than 90 energy efficiency and waste prevention site assessments in a wide ranges of food processing, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, office building and other settings. Projects included food processing greenhouse gas inventories and performance metric system development, a sustainability plan for the U.S. General Services Administration, an industrial-ecology based economic development strategy for the city of Albuquerque, and helping produce HP's first Corporate Citizenship Report. David is also a former co-chair of Tribal P2, a national pollution prevention workgroup.
Additionally, David supports organizational management, fundraising and website management efforts with Indigenous Permaculture, a grassroots collaborative of communities working for food, water and energy security. He also serves on the board of a state-level progressive policy lobby group in California.
