David Tulauskas

David J. Tulauskas is the director of sustainability for General Motors Co.  In that role, he leads efforts to further embed sustainability into GM's business through activities such as goal setting and sustainability reporting.

Tulauskas joined GM in 1991 as an engineer on the environmental activities staff in Detroit. Over his 20-plus year career, he spent more than 10 years being based in Asia and has worked in a wide range of functions from manufacturing to product development to government relations.

Tulauskas has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science degree in civil/environmental engineering from Wayne State University and an international executive MBA from Rutgers State University. In July 2012 he participated in the Corporate Eco Forum sustainability leadership development program in the Amazon.

He and his wife are blessed with three children.
