Emily Cashwell is a manager in the Washington, D.C., office of Deloitte Tax LLP, and is a part of the organization's National Energy Tax Services team. Prior to joining the National Energy Tax Services team, Emily spent three years in the practice office of McLean serving multinational telecommunications and energy clients, and two years in Deloitte's National Federal Tax Services specializing in accounting methods and periods. Emily's client work includes performing provision reviews, reviewing federal and state income tax returns and consulting on tax reporting positions. Additionally, she has experience consulting on tax credits and incentives for companies with alternative energy facilities. Emily holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a masters degree of accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emily is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
