Eric DesRoberts is a Project Associate at GreenBlue's Sustainable Packaging Coalition.
Eric joined GreenBlue as a Project Associate in May 2011. He is primarily responsible for conducting technical research on packaging materials and other sustainable packaging issues for to support the growing SPC project portfolio.

Eric joined GreenBlue as a Project Associate in May 2011. He is primarily responsible for conducting technical research on packaging materials and other sustainable packaging issues for to support the growing SPC project portfolio.
Eric recently completed an MS in Resource Economics and Policy at the University of Maine, where he researched the environmental impacts of potato-based bioplastic production in the state of Maine and the policy implications of its integration into packaging. Through this research, Eric gained expertise in bio-based packaging materials, Extended Producer Responsibility and Product Stewardship legislation, LCA methods, and economic modeling.
Eric was also a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellow at the University of Maine. In addition, Eric holds a BA in Economics from Hartwick College.
