Eric Maurer, Aalok Deshmukh

Eric Maurer (pictured at right) is a consultant with Rocky Mountain Institute's Built Environment Team. Caroline Fluhrer is an analyst on the Built Environment Team, and Aalok Deshmukh is a senior consultant with the Built Environment Team.

Caroline (pictured at left) focuses on sustainable building, energy, and water design strategies for a range of project types including large mixed-used developments, educational facilities, office facilities, and existing buildings. Research efforts focus on the business case for green building, metrics and reporting methodologies, energy efficiency in corporate real estate, and green leasing strategies.

Aalok (pictured at right) provides strategic corporate-, development- and building-level sustainability research and consulting services at RMI. With a background in architecture, a subsequent specialization in building science and an emphasis on energy efficiency; he provides input on dozens of projects within the Built Environment team and across RMI.
