Evan is a founding member of Metamorphosis Management Group (MMG), a firm focused on helping leaders and organizations to define, scope and carry out complex change initiatives. MMG and its associates have worked with organizations and leaders to deliver measurable results through successful change for more than 20 years. Recently, many of these change projects have focused on implementing energy efficiency and sustainable business practices that generate “hard dollar returns” - working through a consortium of complementary service providers called Team Carbon.
As a management consultant, Evan has worked across a range of start-up ventures, Fortune 100 clients, government agencies as well as selected NFP organizations. Corporately, he served as head of Global Quality at Cabot Corporation in 2000-2001, with other experience working in chemical, financial services and technology firms.
Evan has been a speaker at the CALS Expo (1995), the Lean Manufacturing Conference (1996), and has developed presentations delivered at the International Society for Performance Improvement (2003). He has also taught at Tufts University (1995-96), SUNY Empire State College (2002- ), the Cornell School for Industrial & Labor Relations (Extension) in Manhattan (2005- ), and at the Wharton Executive Education Advanced Management Program (2009). Recently, he and MMG developed and published a survey on “Leading Change,” a guide for change leaders and practitioners. He's written on innovative approaches in supply chain management as a researcher for Harvard University's Kennedy School, as well as articles to help leaders generate better business results.
