Gregory Kats is President of Capital E, a national clean energy and green design advisory firm.  He served as Managing Director at Good Energies, a multi-billion dollar global clear energy PE/VC fund. He served for 5 years as the Director of Financing for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the U.S.

Gregory Kats is President of Capital E, a national clean energy and green design advisory firm.  He served as Managing Director at Good Energies, a multi-billion dollar global clear energy PE/VC fund. He served for 5 years as the Director of Financing for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy. Greg is a founder of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), and is a founder of the country’s first green bank, New Resource Bank.  He is the author of the Greening Our Built World: Costs, Benefits and Strategies and in 2011 was the recipient to the first U.S. Green Building Council President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
