John Selldorff has nearly 30 years of leadership experience building global brands and guiding top-tier companies. As president and CEO of Legrand in North America, his vision and expertise in the electrical products and mechanical building systems industries has driven notable growth and opportunity.
John joined Legrand in 2002 as the President and CEO across North America. Legrand’s North American business represents approximately 20 percent of Legrand SA, a global electrical products manufacturer.
In addition, John serves on the Executive Committee for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) as the Immediate-Past Chairman, and is a member of the Council on Competitiveness, a national forum of CEOs, University Presidents and Labor Leaders committed to advancing U.S. economic growth and prosperity.
Prior to his time at Legrand, John was President of Honeywell’s Automation & Control Solutions Service in the Automation and Controls Solutions Group after an extended period with General Electric.
John received his MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his BA from Colgate University.
