Patrick Nye
Bonneville Environmental Foundation
Patrick Nye currently serves as senior consultant, carbon and renewable energy at the Bonnevile Environmental Foundation.
He has been at BEF since 2002, with a brief departure in 2011 to lead a sustainability tracking program for the built environment at Green Building Services. During his time at BEF, Nye has led business development activities across all major foundation offerings, serving clients ranging from global automotive companies, organic food producers and film productions to major league sports, households and utilities across North America.
Nye is a LEED accredited professional with the U.S. Green Building Council. He has also worked as a public relations/advertising account manager for KnollGROUP and as the engineering manager for Portland Brewing Co. Service on the Coast Guard Cutter Planetree and Ice Breaker Polar Star gave him his first environmental work as a first responder to the Exxon Valdez oil spill and as a participant in climate research in the Arctic Sea around the North Pole.
