Philip Henderson is the senior financial policy specialist for the NRDC in Washington, D.C. Philip strives to bring innovation to the mortgage finance industry, including dynamic technology companies.

In 2010, he joined the NRDC's Center of Market Innovation, which works at the intersection of finance and efficiency to promote innovation and to make real the better future that is possible.

Philip's experience includes work for a member of Congress on the Financial Services Committee and as an attorney, serving as a legal counsel and strategist for banks and lenders.

As legal counsel and business team member, he helped to grow LendingTree from 1999 to 2006. He also worked at a startup technology company that creates decisioning systems for mortgage lenders and investors

Philip received his law degree from the University of Virginia.
