Born and raised in Memphis, Suzanne moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee and received her bachelor's degree in communications. After a two-year stint as a copywriter, she started Shelton Group in 1991. Since then, Shelton Group has evolved from a creative boutique to a marketing strategy firm to the national, 25-person consultancy it is today.
