Bruce Nordman

Bruce Nordman is a research scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He has degrees in Architecture and Energy & Resources from U.C. Berkeley. He helps develop energy efficiency policy, domestically and internationally. Nordman also helps to develop technology standards to reduce energy use, particularly in the context of networked devices working with the IETF, IEEE, CEA, and other standards organizations. He works on low-power mode energy use, conceptual models for device behavior and communication, user interfaces, test procedures, efficiency specifications, and network protocols.
