Jim Sinopoli

For over 25 years, Sinopoli has worked extensively on projects involving the design, construction and operation of buildings and building systems. This has involved the configuration and optimization of building technology systems, facility management and operations. Sinopoli is the Managing Principal of Smart Buildings LLC, which provides engineering and consulting services for the design and operation of integrated building technology systems. His background is in construction practices, design, procurement, project management, and building systems and operation, with a particular focus on monitoring and managing a building’s performance. His clients have included Fortune 100 corporations, major school districts, university systems, airports and ports, national government agencies, large private and public hospitals, technology companies, and major developers. His international experience includes projects in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America and Africa. Sinopoli's educational credits include a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University and a M.A. in Applied Science and Environmental Management from Governor's State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, an Accredited LEED Professional and a Registered Communications Distribution Designer.
