Kerrie Romanow

Kerrie Romanow is Director of Environmental Services for City of San Jose. The Department is responsible for the management of solid waste collection and recycling; watershed protection and pollution prevention; municipal drinking water and recycled water; community sustainability initiatives, and the operation and planning for the San Jose-Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant. The department has more than 500 employees and an annual operating budget of $212 million. Prior to joining the City, Romanow served as Chief Operating Officer for a national environmental, health, and safety management consulting firm, Manager of Facilities and Environmental, Health, and Safety for an international compound semiconductor manufacturing firm and as an Inspector for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
