Michael Keating is Founder and CEO of Scoot Networks, the startup that is disrupting urban transportation with speedy, fun electric scooters activated by your smartphone (often referred to as "zipcar for electric scooters"). He led Scoot from an idea to 40 scooters actively on the road in the SOMA in San Francisco, and has big plans to expand to cities across the U.S. Previously, Michael built OpenPlans’ transportation software group, advised world-leading organizations on sustainability strategy at GreenOrder, and has worked for architecture firms in the U.S. and China. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University, a Masters in Urban Planning from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and an MBA from Harvard Business School
