Robert Wilkins
Robert Wilkins is vice president of public affairs of Danfoss, and previously served as president of Danfoss North America. Prior to joining Danfoss in 1992, Wilkins was vice president marketing of Florida Power and Light Company, responsible for developing programs and coordinating energy efficiency and peak load reduction strategies, key customer relationships, and customer service functions. Wilkins has served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) since 1998, and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2007, leading the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute as it merged with the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association to form AHRI. He is also a member of the Board of the Alliance for Responsible Atmospheric Policy and the Board of the Parmer Scholars Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
