Sunil Paul is Founding Partner of Spring Ventures, a multi-stage venture fund that invests in novel IT and cleantech companies. He is also co-founder and CEO of SideCar, the leading on-demand rideshare community with operations in San Francisco and Seattle.An experienced entrepreneur, Sunil co-founded Freeloader and Brightmail, which were acquired for $38M and $370M, respectively. Sunil coined the term "cleanweb" to describe the aggressive application of social, mobile, & internet media to accelerate cleantech deployment in sectors as diverse as hotels, automobiles, food, clothing, buildings, lighting & renewable finance.
