Vancouver, BC — Navigate conversations about climate with diplomacy and confidence by taking part in this fully-online course, which covers the basic concepts and terms needed to understand climate science, climate change and climate policy.

The course begins by exploring the science behind climate change, including an exploration of the climate system, the causes of global warming, climate modeling, and climate forecasting. The course then transitions to a general presentation of mitigation, adaptation and policy.

Learning activities include lectures, videos, readings, assignments, projects and group discussions. Participants are provided a schedule with fixed assignment and project due dates, but may access and engage in the course materials at their own convenience.
