New Software Helps Companies Control Energy and Emissions
Published March 10, 2008
FRAMINGHAM, — PeopleCube and Building Sustainability Ltd. have joined forces to offer software that will help companies better manage their energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
PeopleCube is the creator of Resource Scheduler, an application that allows users to schedule a variety of functions and services, such as video conferences, meeting rooms, catering, classes, equipment or reservations, among others.
Building Sustainability Ltd. works with commercial property managers and owners to help them track and control energy consumption and GHG emissions. When coupled with Resource Scheduler, companies can get real-time emissions and energy consumption data, which is presented in a web-accessible dashboard. The data can be integrated to sensors so companies can control lighting and air and heating systems.
"By integrating our two solutions, we are able to offer customers a comprehensive, intuitive eco-friendly building management system that helps reduce real estate and energy costs while simultaneously conserving our natural resources," said PeopleCube President and CEO John T. Anderson.
