The designer and manufacturer of machine parts, electronics and environmental sensitive equipment for the aviation and earthmoving industries will measure energy efficiency, water conservation, material use and recovery, site sustainability and environmental quality.

“We will conduct an audit of all facets of our business -- internal, manufacturing, supply chain, and partnering -- to ensure that our vision and values are translated into our daily working lives, implementing best practices throughout our global operations," said ADM CEO James Gilchrist.

Rachael Skolnik, AGM’s global sustainability officer hired in February, will work with the university’s School of Sustainability and graduate student Brigitte Bavousett Hill for the project. The Audit will draw upon the company’s commitment to the Triple Bottom Line, which tracks financial, environmental and social performance.

Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability bills itself as the first school in the nation to offer graduate and professional degrees in sustainability.
