Mitsubishi Electric U.S. Group Holdings released a summary today of its products that can be used in commercial and industrial facilities, as well as in homes and communities.
The short list includes solar panels; HVAC systems; non-toxic, chemical-free ozone water treatment systems for industrial and municipal use; power circuit breakers, transformers and gas-insulated substations; elevators capable of generating electricity; inverter-based rail propulsion, train management and climate control systems for commuter rail cars and high speed railways; and display and projection technologies for visual media.
Since the passage of the stimulus legislation in February, a number of firms providing energy efficiency products and services have positioned their offerings in terms of their potential to qualify for tax credits under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
For example like Mitsubishi, Solatube International provides tax credit information and FAQs with listings for specific products, such as its daylighting systems.
Other businesses have gone a step further.
Serious Materials, the maker of eco-friendly high performance Serious Windows and EcoRock drywall, has created a section on its website about Recovery Act funding, grant applications and other opportunities presented by the stimulus package.
