Overland Park, KS — All Sprint retail stores will include areas set aside for all of the company's greener products and accessories, including its phone made with corn and new chargers.
The green sections will only be in company-owned Sprint locations and include Sprint's Reclaim cell phone, solar-powered charger and other accessories.
The new All-In-One vehicle and wall charger meets Energy Star 2.0 guidelines and can charge two devices at once. Sprint is also planning to release a new version of its SOLIO solar-powered phone charger in October. The current version (above) is only available online, but the new one will be available in stores as well.
Another new addition to its green section will be cotton and linen cases (many protective cases are typically made from plastic) that fit a variety of Sprint phones, including the Reclaim, which has a shell partially made of corn-based bioplastic.
