The Green IT Perspective
By Matthew Wheeland
Happy New Year, and new decade!
We're fresh off a short vacation here at GreenerComputing, and a little time off coupled with a lot of great green IT news already in the works this year gives me hope that 2010 is going to be a bustling one for the world of green technology.
It's January, and that means it's CES time -- and for the third year in a row, the Consumer Electronics Association is touting the green cred at the world's largest gadgets show, which starts tomorrow. I've got a look at what the CEA has put together, and what companies are showing off their green goods, in "CES's 2010 Goal: Greener than Ever.
As part of our year-end coverage, we asked sustainability leaders at a number of companies what they were most looking forward to this year; in "What Are You Excited Most About in 2010?, we've got insight from how companies like Adobe, Intel, Autodesk, Best Buy, and others are looking forward to 2010.
What are your predictions for green IT in 2010? Send me your thoughts email at editor@greenercomputing.com.
