Worthless
This report is worthless: http://www.maxgladwell.com/2008/07/marketing-firm-publishes-worthless-report-on-green-social-networks/
We'd think that GreenBiz.com would have enough sense to know this.
Anonymous & angry critics, or just "purists"?
The link the first, anonymous commenter provides leads to a critique of the report that's hard to phathom seeing as how the blogger:
(1) didn’t actually read the report, instead relying on a short article excerpt (I would have been happy to send him a review copy -- is he critiquing the article or the report?);
(2) didn't provide a note of disclosure that he's a competitor to the author of the report;
(3) declined to define what a social network is or isn't, even though that would be necessary to provide credible support to his critique; and
(4) didn’t bother to contact SRB to address his concerns prior to writing such a scathing critique (we're not sure what got him so piqued?!).
Our responses to the critique are detailed in our comments to the blog entry. We welcome other, constructive thoughts and "burying" of his post on digg as inaccurate. Thank you, Perry Goldschein
