Face to Face or Remote?
Is this training available by distance learning or is it only face to face?
Distance learning would be great!
Distance learning
Agreed! I read these emails each week in New Zealand and find myself wishing I could be part of a lot of the events, training etc being held in the Northern Hemisphere. Being able to participate via internet or some other way would be fantastic...and also a lot better for our footprints! Alisha - Instep NZ
Distance Learning
One thing i have heard little in regards to going green is teleconferencing. Yes, we do hear about it now and then but does not get the recognition it deserves. Electronic appliances are used both at the domestic and office levels so does not matter much where you are using it, although to be fair not a great deal of homes are centrally air-conditioned which in turn would mean lesser electric load overall. The downside would be the time loss on domestic squabbles and all but that is an entirely different thing altogether. Coming back, huge amounts of fuel is burnt up daily commuting to and from from the offices and residences. Similarly for meetings out of town. And not just at the official level, but at schools and colleges, distance learning is making way towards a larger ratio of people getting educated. Imagine the time saved for the millions daily (not to mention the gas)looking for parking spaces across the world over while their colleagues and contemporaries decide to do their work/ continue their education in their pajamas in the comfort of their own home. Teleconferencing and Web 2.0 has made all that possible.
Most of all this facility fortunes the disabled without the ridicule.
