Green ROI
It would be interesting to see what areas the respondants saw the greatest return on.
There are many areas where green practices increase the bottom line. One of the most relevant recently is freight costs. Buying from domestic suppliers is becoming more cost effective due to rising transportation costs.
Also, oil prices have driven the cost of plastics to the point that recycled pastics have a minimal cost increase over new products. If this trend continues, it may well result in recycled goods being cheaper than new products.
I inluded an article in my green manufacturing blog about Closed Loop Recycling, a Welsh company rapidly expanding their plastic production. Check it out on my blog at http://greenmanufacturing/wordpress.com
