I'm not sure that it is too
I'm not sure that it is too difficult going completely paper-free. With everything occuring through email (there is rarely a need to print it) and with the ability to create VP networks to share information between clients on different jobs, every office should be able to cut paper use at least 50% if not more. In our office (I work for an environmental consultancy) we recycle as much as possible, and print only the reports for our clients. Any other correspondance is done via email, and information is available on our server. Really, the majority of the time printing is unnecessary.

What about out of the office?
I always print on both sides of the paper and recycle the paper that is waste. I like the idea of being paperless but when in the field I need to have the information in front of me. I don't have the extra time needed to scan documents and store them on a tablet PC (which I'd have to purchase.) Has anyone found a good solution that has worked for them?
Paper free office
I came across many people makes a print for nothing and one of my employer adopted idea to reduce the paper consumption and avoid unnecessary prints.
We had only one printer for every three blocks ( each block of 5 storey building with about min 100 employees per floor). Any body wants to collect the printout, they have to go to third Block and collect them.
Being its a time taking process, people who are in high necessity only , has started doing prints and consumption was reduced drastically as well as print.
Though, it has disadvantage of wasting their precious time for collecting, but it will make the habit of paper free office in few weeks.
