SAN DIEGO, CA — Cotti Foods Corporation, one of the larger Taco Bell franchisees in the U.S., is installing Advanced Telemetry's EcoView Commercial smart energy management system at more than 50 restaurants in Southern California.
Cotti Foods tested the EcoView Commercial System at 15 locations for about nine months at each site before recently contracting with Advanced Telemetry for the deployment, according to Advanced Telemetry said.
EcoView is a server-based and Web-accessible proprietary smart energy and resource management system that can be used at small commercial site and in homes.
Cotti Foods is the latest company to fit its sites out with the system, says Advanced Telemetry.
Others include:
• Taco Bell operator AIP Ventures, which is to use the system at 12 locations in the Seattle, Washington, area.
• Burger King operator RIO Management, of Portland, Oregon, which is using the system at seven restaurants.
• Jim 'n Nick's Bar-B-Q, which is launching the system at 25 restaurants in six states.
• Arby's operator FX4 of Scottsdale, Arizona, also is installing EcoView Commercial at an unspecific number of sites.
