MELBOURNE, — AgCert Services USA is the newest member of the California Climate Action Registry, a voluntary program that enables participating companies to assess, track, and report their greenhouse gas emissions.
AgCert is a leader in the production and sale of agriculturally derived greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions. AgCert's core business is generating GHG emission reductions from farm systems worldwide.
The company works with farms to modify animal waste management practices in order to reduce emissions and supply its customers with Certified Emission Reductions (CERs). AgCert is qualifying its emission reductions as CERs under the Kyoto Protocol for use in the European Union's Emission Trading System and in other countries that are participants in the Kyoto Protocol.
AgCert's proprietary systems and processes include one of only two U.N. approved large scale methodologies for the production of offsets in the agricultural sector.
