Snowmass, CO — Established in 1982 by resource analysts L. Hunter Lovins and Amory B. Lovins, the Rocky Mountain Institute works mainly in the U.S. to help companies create solutions to a wide range of environmental challenges using market economics and resource-efficiency techniques.
