The Wildlife Habitat Council’s “Source Book for Corporate Environmental Stewardship” is a joint effort between WHC and the U.S. EPA’s Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds. The Source Book provides concepts, tools, and methods aimed to help corporate managers and teams implement voluntary, results-oriented, corporate wildlife habitat programs that will improve environmental performance. It discusses management principles and considerations that are important to employee-led conservation programs and community-based partnerships, and describes the success stories of previously implemented corporate wildlife habitat programs. The decision-support tools for project planning, execution, evaluation, and renewal are also valuable components of this tool.
The Source Book is available online.
