Published January 23, 2002
The Clean Washington Center's collection of Best Practices fact sheets detail proven methods and techniques for handling recyclable materials and recycling technology applications. The Best Practices cover the collection, handling, and end-use applications of glass, organics and compost, plastics, tires and rubber, wood, and miscellaneous recyclables. Each report lays out how to handle the material as it is generated, storing and handling the material, working with suppliers and clients, safety issues, manufacturing opportunities, and other end use applications.
