The Architectural Resource Guide helps specifiers and purchasers make more ecological and resource-efficient decisions with sustainable, less-polluting, local, and recycled building products. It is organized according to the Construction Specifications Institute numbering system, which roughly follows the standard building sequence. Each division offers an introduction to green-building practices followed by listings of materials, manufacturers, and distributors throughout the U.S. Categories include: metals, woods and plastics, thermal and moisture protection, windows and doors, finishes, and furnishings. There is also a recommended reading list.
The resource guide is available in print or CD-ROM format. ADPSR members receive a discount. Get sample content and an order form on the resource page of Northern California chapter's Web site.
