This UBC/UW Summer Institute in Sustainability will provide the intellectual perspectives and practical skills necessary to integrate sustainability as a core value within an organization, and develop programs that represent best practices in sustainability planning.

The program consists of seminars, workshops, case studies and fieldtrips to sustainability projects, plus opportunities for social learning and networking.  

A key outcome of the Institute will be the tools and techniques necessary for participants to develop a Sustainability Plan for their organization. Every learning activity throughout the week will be reflected back to the idea of creating a Sustainability Plan.
