Inspired by a climate change presentation by the Alliance for Climate Education (ACE), Indukuri and Lapidous co-founded SmartPowerEd, an organization that works with high school students to cut energy waste in schools. Together, they've spread the program to other Bay Area high schools and are working to help students across the country implement energy saving projects and promote sustainability at their own schools.
