Ben-Zekry is a Manager in Ernst & Young LLP’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice with a focus on the consumer products industry. He works with consumer products clients in the areas of greenhouse gas inventory preparation and assurance, value chain environmental performance optimization, product environmental footprinting and life-cycle assessment and advisory work related to the delivery of products with sustainability enhancements. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Ben-Zekry was with Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) responsible for managing greenhouse gas and energy inventories for owned and operated and supplier facilities, sustainability reporting, overseeing the company’s life-cycle assessment program and developing LS&Co.’s product environmental impact scoring methodology. This included managing sustainability related product- based research and development and managing the company’s sustainable product offerings, such as the Levi’s® WaterLess™ jeans campaign. Ben-Zekry holds a BS in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
