Johnson serves in the Midwest Climate Change and Sustainability Sub-Area and has more than 20 years of experience in environmental and sustainability matters. He has led efforts to provide both assurance and advisory services to a wide range of industry sectors including mining, pulp and paper production, aerospace, food and beverage, and various professional service firms. Johnson has published articles related to sustainability in peer reviewed journals and is an accredited greenhouse gas lead verifier by the California Air Resources Board. His work in this area has included assessments of reporting in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative Framework, International Standards on Assurance Engagements 3000, and multiple regulatory requirements.
