Walker is a member of Ernst & Young LLP’s Americas Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice. In this role he is concentrating on client and market development and strategy throughout the US, Canada and Latin America, extending to clients through the firm’s core services: assurance, advisory, tax and transaction advisory services. For the last 15 years, Walker has been a pioneering thought leader in sustainability strategy and implementation, energy/carbon markets, climate risk and mitigation, cleantech and socially-responsible investing. Previously, he was the Executive Officer of the Carbon Trust, LLC, the US affiliate of the UK’s Carbon Trust, whose mission is to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy by saving energy and commercialize low carbon technologies. He has also served on the National Academy of Science’s, congressionally mandated study “America’s Climate Choices” (July 2010) and as Executive Director for North America for The Climate Group and as Head of Swiss Re's Sustainability Business Development.
