Colleen Kohlsaat

Kohlsaat serves as Director of Levi Strauss and Co.'s Global Environmental Sustainability team in the company's Social and Environmental Sustainability organization. Under her leadership, the Environmental Sustainability department is managing Levi Strauss and Co.'s environmental sustainability program, including monitoring, reporting, and reducing the company's energy and water footprint of its owned and operated locations, that include factories, distribution centers, offices and retail stores. The Environmental Sustainability team is also responsible for providing strategic direction and technical leadership to the global Social and Environmental Sustainability Specialists as they manage and implement the company's supplier code of conduct at more than 800 contract factories around the world. In addition, Kohlsaat has global responsible for managing Levi Strauss & Co.'s environmental requirements for product design and cotton use. She also is responsible for leading life cycle based approaches to support the Company's sustainability strategy. Kohlsaat has more than 20 years of experience in the application of environmental management and science in the business environment.
