DeMelis is a Partner in Ernst & Young LLP’s Assurance Services practice and is the Climate Change & Sustainability Assurance Services (CCaSS) Leader for Ernst & Young LLP’s Northeast sub-area. Based in Stamford, Connecticut, DeMelis has over twenty-three years of experience serving a diverse client base, including both public and privately held companies in the consumer products, manufacturing and commodities trading industries. As CCaSS Assurance Leader, DeMelis assists clients in enhancing and executing their sustainability reporting initiatives, from setting strategy to developing and issuing an effective sustainability report. In his role as an Assurance Partner, DeMelis also provides clients with assurance over the sustainability information reported by the company to its key stakeholders. DeMelis received his BS degree in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta and his MBA in Management from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
