Marco Krapels joined Pegasus from Rabobank where he was most recently an Executive Vice President. Marco managed various divisions over his 18-year career with the bank. Since 2007, Krapels led Rabobank N.A.’s capital markets and specialty finance areas, including its renewable energy finance division in California. Krapels was on the bank’s credit committee and also co-chaired its corporate social responsibility (CSR) committee. He brings 20 years of banking experience to Pegasus, including structured finance, credit and renewable energy project finance. Krapels is a sought-after speaker for renewable energy and has spoken at the likes of Google Talks, the Nantucket Project and the San Francisco Commonwealth Club. Krapels has been featured in various publications, including The New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. Krapels is on the board of Mosaic, The Solutions Project and Empowered by Light Foundation. He received his B.S. with a major in economics from Jacksonville State University and attended the Kellogg School of Management’s Executive Education Program in General Management.
