Matt Rogers

The creator of the world’s first Learning Thermostat, Nest Labs is focused on reducing home-energy consumption. The Nest Learning Thermostat learns human behaviors and preferences, automatically adjusting the temperature so you can stay comfortable while saving energy and money. Prior to Nest, Matt was responsible for iPod software development at Apple, from concept to production. He is passionate about mobile products, loves team building and rapid productization. Matt earned his BS and MS degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.
