Emerson is the Director of Capital Projects and Energy for Kohl’s Department Stores. She manages the capital projects team, utilities and energy efficiency for all of Kohl’s 1,127 stores, located in 49 states. In her tenure in sustainability, her achievements include installation of over 100 activated solar power arrays, 22% reduction in energy use per store and 100% green power usage. She has 25 years of experience working as an energy and environmental engineering manager. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
