Cooper leads a team of energy efficiency ET project and portfolio managers, and represents PG&E on the Emerging Technologies Coordinating Council. Prior to joining PG&E, Cooper worked at SAP, Oracle, MITRE Corporation, and Raytheon Company in a variety of management and technical roles. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.

Interdisciplinary designer Dawn Danby believes the things we make should benefit both people and the world. In the last decade, she has applied sustainability to just about every facet of design, from a tree-covered, wind- powered pedestrian bridge on the US-Canada border to closed-loop manufacturing strategies for a leading outdoor footwear manufacturer and a public art master plan for a major american airport. She currently manages Autodesk's Sustainable Design Program, integrating sustainable thinking into the digital tools used by 9 million designers and engineers worldwide. She is a co-author of WorldChanging: A User's Guide to the 21st Century and the winner of a Royal Society of Arts (UK) fellowship as well as a Metropolis NEXT Generation runner-up for her work on food systems. Dawn holds an industrial design degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MBA in Sustainable Business from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute.

Davies is an experienced entrepreneur and innovator who has applied his business and management skills to create new enterprises as well as improve the operations of existing businesses. Most recently, he was Vice President of Green Technology Research for AMR Research. While there, he developed the Sustainability Peer Forum, a network of senior executives from $1B+ corporations working together to share best practices and lessons learned for implementing sustainable development programs. John is a frequent keynote speaker at international events, is well-known for his supply chain expertise and is the author of numerous articles in business, industry, and educational publications. John received his BA from SUNY at Fredonia and his MA from the University of Delaware.

Guevarra covers the green building beat, focusing on commercial real estate. She joined Greener World Media with more than 20 years of news experience, including work at the San Francisco Chronicle, where she served as a deputy managing editor. Guevarra has been a reporter and editor in print, an associate producer and on-air public affairs program host, and a podcaster. In addition to the Chronicle and its website sfgate.com, she work has appeared in several other publications and on KTSF-TV in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Halvorsen is responsible for leading the Energy and Utility Management program across Frito-Lay’s 39 manufacturing plants and 195 distribution centers; leading the Environmental Compliance and Environmental Engineering programs for Frito-Lay North American Operations; and coordinating corporate-wide sustainability initiatives across the energy, water, environmental compliance, packaging, marketing and fleet department. Halvorsen has more than 20 years of operations experience with Frito Lay. and holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Master Business Administration from Arizona State University.

Kim advocates for policies in the city of Oakland and statewide in California to create "green-collar" jobs (quality, career-track, manual labor jobs in industries like renewable energy, water and energy efficiency, and green building), especially for low-income young adults and those with barriers to employment. He is a co-convenor of Oakland Mayor Ron Dellum's Green Economy Task Force, and served as Vice-Chair of the Oakland Oil Independence by 2020 Task Force. Kim holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management. Ian and his wife, Sunjung, are often laughing at the antics of their two-year-old daughter, Minju.

Kobori is responsible for LS&Co’s labor, health and safety, and environmental standards. He previously worked at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), where he was Vice-President and Director of the Business and Human Rights Program. Prior to his work in corporate social responsibility, Kobori spent nearly a decade at The Asia Foundation, supporting human rights, economic development and regional cooperation in Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam. He received his A.B. degree from the University of California at Berkeley, where he also completed his Master's in Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy.

In addition to working on issues relating to international environmental standards and regulatory innovation, Morrison has conducted research on the sustainable management of freshwater resources and water planning in the southwestern U.S. His past research includes work on restoration of the Salton Sea in California and binational water management in the Colorado River border region. He holds a Master's Degree from Boston University's Center for Energy and Environmental Studies and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego. In 1994, he was a fellow with the Americans and World Affairs Fellowship Program in Berkeley, Calif.

Selkowitz leads a group of architects, engineers, and scientists who are studying all aspects of the thermal and daylighting performance of glazing materials and window systems. The group’s work is supported by government, utilities, and industry. A major theme of the group’s activities has been to convert fenestration from an energy cost to a net energy benefit, while improving comfort, amenity, and productivity. Selkowitz participates in a wide range of industry and professional activities, is a frequent speaker on the topic of fenestration and related building energy efficiency topics, and is the author of over 100 publications. Prior to joining LBNL he worked as an energy consultant and educator. He has a BA in Physics from Harvard and a Master of Fine Arts in Environmental Design from California Institute of the Arts.

With over thirty years experience, Shelton has assisted leading government organizations and companies around the world. He specializes in developing and integrating innovative business models and new technologies to create valuable new business opportunities for his clients. Shelton is also co-author of Making Innovation Work (2006), whichk challenges the prevalent misconceptions about innovation and lays out the tools and processes necessary for an organization to harness and execute innovation. Shelton has spent his entire professional life working on innovation. He co-founded and currently sits on the Board of a first-of-its-kind energy and environmental incubator in Silicon Valley 13 years ago. The incubator has received recognition from the White House, and the Governor’s and Mayor’s offices.
Bill Stock , Director, Regulatory Relations, PG&E.
Stock’s current responsibilities center on regulatory strategic planning efforts ranging from workforce pipeline development to enterprise risk management. Previous work in Regulatory Relations included advocacy supporting PG&E’s Advanced Metering Initiative, PG&E’s bankruptcy as well as numerous energy crisis related issues. Prior to joining Regulatory Relations he was involved in state and federal government policy and lobbying activities. He has also held positions as Director of Nuclear Fuel Management and as a negotiator of bulk power contracts. Prior to joining PG&E, Stock worked as a chemical engineer for the C.F. Braun Company and was engaged in research with the General Atomic Company. Stock holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from UC San Diego, and a J.D. from the Whittier College School of Law.

Sturcken directs the work of our California Corporate Partnerships team, which develops and implements joint projects with leading companies to create environmental change. She currently oversees the work of staff in San Francisco and Bentonville, AR, working on projects ranging from greening the supply chain to energy efficiency for such companies as FedEx, UPS, and Wal-Mart. Prior to joining EDF, Sturcken worked as an Environmental Consultant for the EPA through Harvard University, on global climate change, as a Policy Analyst with the Office of Management and Budget, and as a Systems Consultant with the Bank of Boston. Sturcken holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Minnesota.

Matt has a background in environmental journalism and new media, and is a graduate of U.C. Santa Cruz and the U.C. Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. He previously worked at AlterNet and Greater Good magazine and his writings on the environment, politics, culture and business have appeared in a wide range of print and online publications.

Dr. Williams is the CTO for IBM's Big Green Innovations unit, whose role is to identify environmentally focused businesses for IBM to either develop or participate in; he is personally responsible for assembling, maintaining and developing the portfolio of businesses included. Williams is a management consultant with more than 20 years’ experience of bringing technology and business issues together to develop novel solutions and business models. A native of the UK, he has lived in the US since 1999. His PhD was awarded by the School of Management at the University of Bath, England, in 1986.
