  • Tom Arnold, Vice President of Energy Efficiency and Carbon Solutions, EnerNOC, Inc.

    • Tom leads an internal team focused on helping EnerNOC’s commercial customers reduce energy costs without capital upgrades and access market based mechanisms to encourage additional energy efficiency projects. Prior to EnerNOC, Arnold was the founder and Chief Environmental Officer of TerraPass, a nationally recognized greenhouse gas management firm. He began his career in data networking at Redback Networks and Mercer Management Consulting. Arnold holds an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College and is a 2005 Honors MBA graduate of the Wharton School.

      • Lee C. Cooper, Manager, Emerging Technologies, PG&E Corp.

        • Cooper leads a team of energy efficiency ET project and portfolio managers, and represents PG&E on the Emerging Technologies Coordinating Council. Prior to joining PG&E, Cooper worked at SAP, Oracle, MITRE Corporation, and Raytheon Company in a variety of management and technical roles. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.

          • Guevarra covers the green building beat, focusing on commercial real estate. She joined Greener World Media with more than 20 years of news experience, including work at the San Francisco Chronicle, where she served as a deputy managing editor. Guevarra has been a reporter and editor in print, an associate producer and on-air public affairs program host, and a podcaster. In addition to the Chronicle and its website sfgate.com, she work has appeared in several other publications and on KTSF-TV in the San Francisco Bay Area.

             

          • Stephen Selkowitz, Program Head of the Building Technologies Department at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

            • Selkowitz leads a group of architects, engineers, and scientists who are studying all aspects of the thermal and daylighting performance of glazing materials and window systems. The group’s work is supported by government, utilities, and industry. A major theme of the group’s activities has been to convert fenestration from an energy cost to a net energy benefit, while improving comfort, amenity, and productivity. Selkowitz participates in a wide range of industry and professional activities, is a frequent speaker on the topic of fenestration and related building energy efficiency topics, and is the author of over 100 publications. Prior to joining LBNL he worked as an energy consultant and educator. He has a BA in Physics from Harvard and a Master of Fine Arts in Environmental Design from California Institute of the Arts.
