Alex Murray

Alex Murray is an associate with RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance. As a member of the Center team, Alex is working to help transition the financial sector toward a decarbonized, climate-aligned future through enabling financial institutions to align their investing and lending decisions with climate goals.

Prior to joining RMI full time, Alex spent the summer of 2021 as an intern in RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance, leading the team’s analysis and research on financial regulation and its impact for climate alignment. Before RMI, Alex attended graduate school at University College Dublin as a 2021 Mitchell Scholar. His other professional experiences include financial, political, tech, and nonprofit work, including leading economic research on land conservation policy with The Nature Conservancy.
