Alice Thomas-Smyth

Alice Thomas-Smyth is the Technical Lead for the Science Based Targets Network's Oceans Hub, part of the Oceams Team at WWF US. She brings together leading science and best practices with industry voices to develop metrics and standards of equitable, nature positive, and net-zero industries, starting with the seafood supply chain.Prior to joining WWF she worked at Environmental Defense Fund in the Oceans Program, focusing on sustainable fishing and climate-resilient systems that are inclusive and benefit communities using data-driven methods. Alice has a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and lives in Hayward, California.
