Director, Global Responsibility Communications
Aman Singh is director of global responsibility communications for Walmart. She was previously senior director of sustainability communications at CRI Communications, a CSR and sustainability strategy and communications firm. She is an experienced journalist and communications strategist having worked across the print, digital and social spaces — including stints at The Wall Street Journal, CSRwire and Edelman, and writing for Forbes, CNBC and The Guardian — always trying to better connect the dots between the many threads of CSR, sustainability, storytelling and behavior change. Prior to CRI, she worked as editor-in-chief at Futerra partnering with clients on a whole host of projects spanning sustainability strategy development, communication efforts and brand campaigns.
Aman has worked with clients across industries including apparel, consumer goods, banking, food, electronics and fashion. When she is not pouring over CSR and sustainability strategies or crafting stories, she is a mom in training, working hard to cultivate a carefully crafted sense of calmness and learning the value of well-timed gumption and sass. She is also an avid tweeter, an experienced public speaker and a firm believer in the power of genuine conversations.
